The workshop

Three people run this bench, and that's the whole crew on purpose.

Ziruqen trades under that name at ziruqen.com. It's a residential locksmith workshop, not a dispatch company — the same three people who answer the phone are the ones who show up with the tools. The shop is based at 122 Oak Lane, Suite 4, Austin, Texas 52041, and everything on the bench happens in that one place or at a household door somewhere in Austin.

What actually happens on the bench.

Key cutting happens on-site on a standard household blank, ready in ten minutes or under while you wait. Cylinder rekeying happens same day and never touches the door hardware itself — we swap the pins inside the cylinder you already own so one key runs your whole house. Lock and hardware swaps replace a deadbolt or knob set and align the strike plate to match, priced per door. Lockout calls get a tension wrench and a pick before anything else; drilling is the fallback, and it needs your sign-off first. Small safe work covers drawer safes and cash boxes — opening them and resetting the combination — not vault-rated units. Furniture and drawer lock repair covers cam locks, mortise desk locks and mailbox cylinders, usually finished in under twenty minutes.

None of that is a promise about your specific lock sight-unseen. It's the list of what the bench is set up to do, stated plainly so you know before you call whether this is the right shop.

What gets handed back.

No car keys. No fleet contracts. No vault safes. Say it before the quote, not after.

Why the list stays narrow.

Automotive key programming needs equipment and manufacturer subscriptions we don't carry, and doing it badly means a customer stuck with a car that won't start. Fleet and multi-site commercial contracts need a scheduling and account layer this shop doesn't have — three people can't service forty doors on a rotation without something slipping. Vault and fire-rated safes are a different trade entirely, with certifications we haven't earned and won't claim. Turning those jobs down isn't modesty. It's the reason the six jobs we do keep get done properly, on the day, by someone who's done that exact job before.

If a lock can be picked clean instead of drilled, we say that before we quote a new one, even though a new lock is the bigger ticket. If a drawer lock is a five-minute fix, we fix it — we don't sell a new desk to solve a problem a screwdriver already solved.

The workshop is a working space, not a showroom. The concrete floor, the pegboard of hand tools and the leather roll above go out the door on lockout calls the same way they came in — nothing here is staged for a photograph and then put away. When a job needs the bench rather than the road, it comes back to this address and gets worked here, in view of whoever else is at the counter that day.

Reaching a person.

Call +1 (429) 555-0256 or write to office@ziruqen.com. Both go to whichever of the three of us is at the counter or on a call-out that day — there's no answering service and no script reader between you and the bench. If it's after hours, the message waits until the next person is back at the counter rather than going into a queue nobody's watching.

For a job that isn't urgent, the inquiry form on the contact page or the job planner on the homepage gets more detail into our hands before we call you back, which usually means a shorter first conversation.

We'll tell you plainly if it's outside the six things we do, and point you toward someone who handles it properly instead.
